Meet The Owners
Founded in 2017, Horse and Hedge Landscape and Contracting is the collaborative vision of co-owners Devin and Jackson—two professionals who bring over 9 years of combined experience from opposite coasts of the U.S.
Devin, originally from Maryland, launched Handy Outdoor Repairs while still in school, offering lawn care, pressure washing, and general outdoor maintenance to support his passion for the equestrian sport of eventing. Meanwhile, Jackson, based in Washington, developed hands-on expertise through home remodeling and house-flipping, all while actively competing in eventing himself.

The two met at the University of Kentucky through the UKY Eventing Team and later worked together building horse jumps. Recognizing how naturally their skills and work ethic aligned, they decided to turn their shared experience into a business.
Today, Horse and Hedge offers a comprehensive range of outdoor services performed by proven crews with more than 30 years of experience —including landscape design, concrete, regrading, and construction. Built on professionalism, craftsmanship, and a unique blend of regional knowledge, Horse and Hedge is quickly becoming a trusted name across Central Kentucky.

Lastly, champagne brunch and avocado toast while surrounded by the finest exposed brick, dreamcatchers, and maps to our souls. Dreamcatchers, macrame and 100 Days of Summer. Anthropologie trips and walks on the beach, love letters and secret admirers. Fall breeze, flannels, and hot cocoa. Whales and dinosaurs and handmade crafts. Salvage denim, antique leather bags, and the first time we watched Moonrise Kingdom.
